Trust YOUR TRUE Nature for a Healthy, Magical Life!

Learning to trust your true nature can be the most enlightening and empowering act you take in your entire life.  It will help you tap into the wellspring of 'knowing' or intelligence beyond the normal thinking and rationalizing functions of the conscious mind.  

You have resources available to you that you may not be aware of, that are intangible, subtle, yet very powerful.  Once you understand how to tap into these resources ~ which you can learn during the Trust YourSELF Coaching & Hypnotherapy sessions, or Trust YourSELF Health Coaching (focusing more on diet and fitness) process ~ your decision making abilities will greatly improve.  

As you learn to trust your true nature, and act on the inner guidance, your entire life can take on new dimensions.  You will become more self-reliant, self-confident, and aligned with your purpose and greater desires.   You will feel more 'in the flow.'

In deed, when you learn to trust your true nature, you will begin to see just how magical life can be.  Your health will improve.  Your relationship with food and your body will improve, and your mind will feel more clear and focused.  

You can also learn how to process and better manage emotional triggers that spontaneously erupt, and cause us to feel out of control.  When you learn to Trust Yourself, or Trust your True Nature ~  the higher/greater expression of Who You Really Are ~ you will feel much more confident, self-reliant, and free from the tribal group-think, or old ruts that impede the quality of your life.

So how do you learn to trust your true nature?  

My husband and I met in 2010, right before my 47th birthday.  I had just relocated to Arizona from the Midwest.  Our story of how we met is pretty remarkable, which I'll share in an upcoming article.  The point here is how that experience taught me how well things go when we trust our true nature.  

Prior to that, and for much of my life, I made choices based on what I thought I was supposed to do, or what I believed was expected of me.  The consequences of those choices ~ born out over time ~ were mixed.  While I don't want to label any of it 'bad' there is definitely a difference in the level of ease and flow ~ or lack thereof ~ when we are operating with our greater resources versus when we are not.

Despite what I believe I knew deep within me all along, I learned from a young age how to not trust my true nature.  After years of soul searching, struggle, and an inability to really get a flow going in my life, I decided it was time to try something radically different ~ that is, I began to actually trust my true nature to guide me.  

When you don't trust your true nature, life can be a lot more challenging.

Learning to trust your true nature means understanding more clearly who you really are  ~ including your connection to Nature.  

All of us are creatures of Nature ~ plants, animals, and humans.  All of our resources are supplied ~ in one form or another ~ by Nature.  Spending time in the forest, or with our bare feet on the grass has been found to have many health benefits.  We certainly feel more 'grounded' and peaceful after spending time outdoors in a beautiful setting.

Nature has her own set of rules.  We don't necessarily learn these rules growing up.  But whether we are aware of them or not, and whether we believe in them or not, they exist.  

Harmonizing our life with Nature is like finally uploading the right operating system for creating a more healthy and magical life.  It lays the  foundation from which we can learn how to 'read' ourselves to determine our needs.  

When we forget our connection to the natural world, and live disharmoniously to Nature's rhythms, our energy and moods suffer.  

When we are not harmonized with Nature ~ and our own True Nature ~ our lives don't flow as well.  We feel disconnected.  The (seeming) 'bad' things, or challenges, including our health issues  don't make sense to us, and can throw us sideways into a downward spiral of stress, hopelessness, and despair.  We try many diets and therapies hoping for improvement, and while we may find temporary relief,  nothing seems to work for any length of time.

The great part about learning how to trust your true nature, is that you can apply this to every area of your life ~ your diet, exercise routine, lifestyle practices, right livelihood, and more.  

You more fully embody and express Who You Really Are, or your full
Divine potential, and your life becomes more wholly integrated, free of internal dissonance and strife.  

Fear no longer halts you in your tracks.  You use fear to push you through previous set points.  You also quit doing things you think you are 'supposed' to do, or based on your perceptions of the expectations of others, and instead begin to more boldly live life on your terms.

Sounds great, huh?  So, you may ask, what all is involved in learning how to trust your true nature?  I've come to see three main areas of focus that are essential.

TRUST Your Body

There is a lot of confusion around determining what is the healthiest diet.  And while everyone can agree that exercise is important, which types and how much is optimal for you?

Do the doctors, naturopaths, diet gurus, and scientists really know better than you what you need to eat and do to thrive?

The body is the seat of your emotions. It has its own language. It will guide you once you learn how it communicates.

Clear YOUR Mind

Before you can really trust your body, you must first clear your mind.  

Our minds are full of preconditioned beliefs and perceptions about life and what is  really best for us.  These beliefs & perceptions often go unchecked.  We also have an inner saboteur and a lot of 'stray cats' or ceaseless chatter that can override our inner GPS.  To be able to tune into your most valuable resource ~ your inner guidance system ~ you must learn to clear your mind first.

Follow Your SPIRIT

Once you clear your mind, and learn how to trust and read your body, you will gain confidence and momentum.  Your Spirit will be able to send you more clear messages about your True Nature.

What makes YOU tick?  What is YOUR ideal environment?  Livelihood?  Lifestyle?  

Harmonize your energy, and align with Nature's laws.   Let your gifts shine, your desires be revealed, and learn to TRUST YOUR SPIRIT!

Once you have a basic understanding of what constitutes healthy eating, and a healthy dietyou can learn to trust your true nature to guide you to the right foods. 

  • Long before modern medicine, there weren't any men in white lab coats around to tell us humans how to eat based on this or that study.  Knowing the science is useful, but it has limitations.  Studies can be set up poorly, or designed with preconceive outcomes, depending on who is funding the study.  And, the results can be misleading or taken out of context.  

    Don and I have tried everything from high animal protein and fat paleo diet, to high fruit, mostly raw diet which was very low in protein and fat, to a moderate protein and fat grain and legume-based macrobiotic diet.  We have discovered the strengths and pitfalls of following each of these approaches, and have learned how to better determine the best foods for each person.

  • There are many theories about how to best train your body.  One thing is certain, your body is designed to move.  And way too many of us are not using our body in all the ways possible.  We live lifestyles that impede our flexibility, and diminish our core strength.  For healthy bones, prevention of fractures and osteoporosis, and to maintain a healthy vigor and mobility through the decades, you need to engage in some type of fitness.  But which is best?  And how much is necessary?  Can you train too much?  Many of these questions will be addressed by Don at Full Range Strength.  Other ways to care for your body will be addressed here.

  • Your mind is often filled with a lot of chatter that Don likes to call the stray cats, and others refer to as monkey mind.  We have all been fed many beliefs throughout our lives, beginning at a young age.  Some are from our parents, our culture, school teachers, and the predominant culture as observed through television and social media.  

    Many of our thoughts about ourselves are not very positive.  Each of us also has many 'parts' that are like multiple personalities, and they don't all always agree with each other.  

    To really have a magical life, we need to get our head together, release our excess baggage, and learn to question all of our deeply held beliefs.  The more open to new ideas you are, the easier things will go.  

    As a hypnotherapist and C.O.R.E.   • Your True Nature knows what you are here to do.  You have a master blueprint hard wired within you to create a truly meaningful and magical life, if you will just get out of your own way.  Once you clear your mind and begin to trust your body, your desires will bubble up more organically.  You will be guided to take the appropriate steps at the right time to create exactly what you need.  When you learn how to Trust YOUR TRUE NATURE, you will become a more magnetic attractor and pull to you the right people, resources, and situations to fulfill your Divine purpose.
